Global Network

Pivotel is the only Tier 1 provider for all four major satellite networks: Iridium, Inmarsat, Globalstar and Thuraya, plus our own VSAT service. Our unique set of products, value-added services, geographic diversity and most of all relationships, means we serve every satellite market on land, sea and in the air.

Local Offices

Pivotel operates via distributed offices on five continents, with offices and staff in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, United States of America, Brazil, Colombia, Netherlands, Greece and Cyprus. All Pivotel customer touchpoints are local, supported by an experienced team of network engineers, application developers, customer care agents and over 400 partners who offer the full suite of Pivotel products and services. Pivotel Maritime’s global operations are headquartered in Europe, with global support resources.

Pivotel Advantage

Part of the Pivotel Advantage is the suite of products and services we provide, but a bigger part is our focus on customer care. We have SelfCare, a customer portal where the customer can view their airtime bills, set up auto payments, and configure spend alerts for their satellite data usage. Customers get free calling to the customer care team to get tech support or ask questions about their airtime.

How Pivotel Creates Better Connections

Pivotel maintains a mobile carrier license and operates ground infrastructure in Australia, making it the fourth largest mobile carrier in the country. It is the only Australian carrier with direct connection to all four major mobile satellite networks: Iridium, Inmarsat, Thuraya, and Globalstar. Pivotel is a registered satellite service provider in New Zealand. The company’s suite of satellite and mobile technologies enable remote connectivity via satellite phones, satellite data modems, personnel and asset trackers, docking kits, machine to machine data terminals and specialist maritime communication. Pivotel Group’s 4G mobile network, EcoSphere®, extends its carrier network to deliver complementary terrestrial wireless services to rural and remote Australians.

Operating in the Satellite Voice, Data, and Lone Worker Safety Markets Since 2003

Pivotel’s satellite ground network and status as a licensed carrier enables services to be provided with unique benefits like Australia and North American mobile numbers, free test call services, and cost control tools for voice and data services, including usage alerts, restricted dialing lists, and IP blacklisting.  These unique features are the envy of the mobile satellite world and help to deliver greater value, increase simplicity and peace of mind.
